Work Pass는 취업 비자로 싱가포르에서
일을 하려면 꼭 필요한 서류 중 하나예요!
그럼 다양한 WP를 하나하나 살펴보며
싱가포르에서 일을 하기 위해 어떤 비자가 필요할지
본인에게 맞는 비자를 알아보도록 해요!
우선 EP라고 불리는 Emplyment Pass의 경우
매니저나 간부, 경영진 등의 직급을 가진 사람으로
월급이 4,500불 이상에
자격 조건을 가진 사람을 위한 비자입니다!
EntrePass의 경우 싱가포르에서
사업을 시작하고자 하는 사람들을 위한 비자예요!
Personalised Employment Pass의 경우
고연봉을 받는 EP 홀더나
해외에서 들어오는 사람들을 위한 비자로
EP에 비해 유연한 조항이 많은 비자입니다!

For foreign professionals, managers and executives. Candidates need to earn at least $4,500 a month and have acceptable qualifications. |
EntrePass |
For eligible foreign entrepreneurs who are keen to start and operate a business in Singapore that is venture-backed or possesses innovative technologies. |
Personalised Employment Pass |
For high-earning existing Employment Pass holders or overseas foreign professionals. The PEP offers greater flexibility than an Employment Pass. |

중위의 기술을 가진 직원들을 위한 비자이며
월급이 2,500불 이상에
자격 조건을 가진 사람을 위한 비자예요!
Work Permit for Foreign Worker은
공사현장 인부, 제조업 인부, 조선소 인부와
서비스직 등에 종사하는
외국인들을 위한 비자예요!
Work Permit for Foreign Domestic Worker은
가정의 요리사, 가정부, 집사 등
가정의 고용인을 위한 비자예요!
Work Permit for Confinement Nanny는
저도 정리하면서 굉장히 신기했던 부분인데
말레이시안 분만 유모를 위한 비자로
아기가 태어난 순간부터 16주간 신생아를
돌보는 일을 하는 이들을 위한 비자인데
싱가포르에서는 산후조리원 문화가 없고
개인을 고용해서 아이를 맡기는 문화가 있다고 해요!
Work Permit for Performing Artiste는
바텐더나 호텔리어, 클럽에서
일하는 사람 등을 위한 비자예요!
서비스직과 호텔리어가
따로 분리되어 있는 게 신기하네요 ㅎㅎ
S Pass |
For mid-level skilled staff. Candidates need to earn at least $2,500 a month and meet the assessment criteria. |
Work Permit for foreign worker |
For semi-skilled foreign workers in the construction, manufacturing, marine shipyard, process or services sector. |
Work Permit for foreign domestic worker |
For foreign domestic workers (FDWs) to work in Singapore. |
Work Permit for confinement nanny |
For Malaysian confinement nannies to work in Singapore for up to 16 weeks starting from the birth of the employer's child. |
Work Permit for performing artiste |
For foreign performers working in public entertainment outlets such as bars, hotels and nightclubs. |
Training Employment Pass는
전문직 외국인들의 실무 수습을 위한 비자로
월급이 3,000불 이상인 사람들을 위한 비자예요!
Work Holiday Pass는 워킹 홀리데이 비자로
18살부터 25살의 학생이나 졸업생들을 대상으로
싱가포르에서 6개월 간 워홀을 할 수 있는 비자예요!
워홀 비자는 2가지가 있는데
두 번째 비자는 호주 학생들에게만 해당되며
18살부터 30살의 학생이나 졸업생이 대상이며
싱가포르에서 1년 간 워홀을 할 수 있는 비자예요!
워홀도 나라를 가려서 받다니.. 과연 싱가포르..!

Training Work Permit은 인턴들을 위한 비자로
6개월간 싱가포르에서 일할 수 있는 비자예요!
Training Employment Pass |
For foreign professionals undergoing practical training. Candidates must earn at least $3,000 a month. |
Work Holiday Pass (under Work Holiday Programme) |
For students and graduates aged 18 to 25 who want to work and holiday in Singapore for 6 months. |
Work Holiday Pass (under Work and Holiday Visa Programme) |
For Australian students and graduates aged 18 to 30 who want to work and holiday in Singapore for 1 year. |
Training Work Permit |
For semi-skilled foreign trainees or students undergoing practical training in Singapore for up to 6 months. |
Dependant's Pass는 EP나 SP 홀더의
배우자나 아이를 위한 비자예요!
Long Term Visit Pass는 EP나 SP 홀더의
부모님과 사실혼 관계의 배우자,
입양아, 장애아 등을 위한 비자예요!
Pre-approved Letter of Consent는
LTVP나 LTVP+를 가지고 있는 싱가포르인이나
영주권자의 배우자나 아이를 위한
ICA에서 발급되는 레터로
사전에 싱가포르에서 일을 할 수 있는
승인을 받은 사람들이 LTVP나 LTVP+를 신청하거나
재발급할 때 발급받는 레터입니다!
Letter of Consent for ICA-issued
LTVP/LTVP+ holders는
PLOC와 같이 LTVP나 LTVP+를 가지고 있는
싱가포르인과 영주권자의 배우자와 아이를 위해
ICA에서 발급되는 레터로
싱가포르에서 일을 하려면
LOC가 꼭 필요하다고 해요!
Letter of Consent for Dependant's Pass Holders
who are business owners는
DP를 가진 사람이 사업을 시작하려면
이 레터가 필요하다고 해요!
Dependant's Pass |
For spouses and children of eligible Employment Pass or S Pass holders. |
Long Term Visit Pass |
For parents, common-law spouses, step-children or handicapped children of eligible Employment Pass or S Pass holders. |
Pre-approved Letter of Consent |
For eligible spouses or children of Singapore citizens or PRs holding an LTVP/LTVP+ issued by ICA. The holder is pre-approved to work in Singapore. They can only apply for a PLOC when applying for, or renewing the LTVP/LTVP+. |
Letter of Consent for ICA-issued LTVP/LTVP+ holders |
For eligible spouses or children of Singapore citizens or PRs holding an LTVP/LTVP+ issued by ICA. The LOC allows the holder to work in Singapore. The employer must apply for the LOC. |
Letter of Consent for Dependant’s Pass holders who are business owners |
For eligible Dependant’s Pass holders who wish to operate a business. |
Miscellaneous Work Pass는
연설가나 교역자, 기자 등
60일 이내에 짧은 임무 수행을 위해
오는 사람들을 위한 비자예요!
Work Pass Exempt Activities는 WP 없이
짧은 활동을 위해 오는 사람들을 위한 것이며
비자는 없어도 MOM에 활동은 보고해야 한다고 해요!

공인된 학교를 다니는
풀타임 학생들은 WP가 필요 없고
Work Passes for Holders of Long Term
Visit Passes issued by ICA는
외국인 중 싱가포르인이나 영주권자와 결혼했거나
학생과 함께 들어온 부모님을 위한 비자입니다!
Miscellaneous Work Pass |
For foreign speakers, religious workers and journalists taking on a short-term work assignment of up to 60 days in Singapore. |
Work Pass Exempt Activities |
For performing eligible short-term activities without a work pass. Candidates must still notify MOM of their activities. |
Work pass exemption for foreign students |
For foreign students studying full-time at an approved school or institution in Singapore. |
Work passes for holders of Long Term Visit Passes issued by ICA |
For foreigners married to a Singaporean or permanent resident, or parents accompanying a child who is studying in Singapore. |
